On Friday Morning, an Internet issue has been reported in data networks between South and North which is causing a Complete Outage across Pakistan. This issue is being investigated. PTA is monitoring the situation and further updates will be shared.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority says they're investigating the matter as Social media users reported #internetdown issues in different cities. Downdetector received nearly 800 complaints of #PTCL outage, so far. This outage damaged the Punjab area. Lahore Okara, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Jhang, and Bahawalpur is the Major cities of Punjab. According to the down detector, the Internet outage in Pakistan is being as.
PTCL and Ufone internet is also down nationwide. The reason is unknown but it is heard that the backhaul cable is damaged which led to the Complete Outage across Pakistan.
All the cellular networks except Jazz and Zong are working but slow. No explanation from the providers. Maybe it's deliberate and some kind of operation is underway.
